Carolyn Eldridge-Alfonzetti lives adjacent to bushland in suburban Sydney. Her poems, articles and short stories for adults are generally inspired by everyday life and the natural world and have been published in mainstream magazines in Australia and the U.K. as well as a variety of literary anthologies.
Carolyn is the author of six children’s books: Rainforest Feasts (a picture book for children 3+), Rocky the Cocky (a picture book for children 5+), Around the Globe with Gramps (a verse novella for readers 8+), and three books in her first chapter book series Trudie Cooper Super Foodie (for children 7-9 years). Her poems and short stories for children have been published in The SchoolMagazine since 2007.
In 1997 she was awarded Writing Fellow-class membership of the Fellowship of Australian Writers N.S.W. and in 2014 received a FAW NSW Distinguished Service award.
